<h4>Signs and Symptoms</h4>

<li>Tightness (grade one strain)</li>
<li>Pain</li>
<li>Cramp like sensation (grade one strain)</li>
<li>Pain walking and sore to touch (grade two strain)</li>
<li>Bruising</li>
<li>Severe sharp stabbing pain (grade three)</li>
<li>Muscle spasm</li>
<li>Swelling</li>
<li>There will be more passive range of movement available than active range of movement</li>
<li>Resisted movements will be weak and very painful</li>
</ul>
