  • Lie on your back with your knees bent
  • Take your spine into neutral
  • Draw in your lower stomach by turning on your core muscles
  • Control your breathing whilst keeping the core muscles switched on
  • Lift up your target leg
  • Pointing your toes and keeping your knee bent make a counter clockwise circular motion with your lower leg
  • Maintain this position for 10 - 20 seconds
  • Slowly lower yourself back to the starting position
  • Whilst performing this exercise maintain the lying neutral spine position and keep your core muscles switched on throughout
