Muscles Used


  • Hold your trunk tight and keep your back straight
  • Position the bar across your shoulders like you would for a squat
  • Raise your heals as high as possible
  • Lower your heals so they almost touch the floor
  • Alternative - Place a slightly raised block or weight disc under your toes for additional leverage
