Dumbbell Upright Row Muscles Used

Instructions

  • Hold your trunk tight and keep your back straight
  • Bend your arms slightly
  • Hold the bar at shoulder width
  • Palms down
  • Raise the bar so it is level with (or slightly above) your shoulders
  • Lower the bar to waist height
  • All movement should be generated by your deltoids, do not swing your body to assist the action

  1. Hi, Just come across your site and am really impressed with your workout routines! To be honest I get a bit demotivated at the gym as I’m always confused and unsure as to which exercises I should be doing and in which order (i.e. should I be working on chest and biceps or chest and tri??) Good site!
