Muscles Used


  • Hold your trunk tight and keep your back straight
  • Hold the dumbbell at one end with both hands
  • Palms up
  • Keep your wrists straight
  • Start with your arms almost fully extended above your head
  • Keep your upper arms inline with your torso
  • Lower the dumbbell behind your head so your arms flex to about 90°
  • Extend your arms back to the start position
