Muscles Used


  • Hold your trunk tight and keep your back straight
  • Hold the bar with a narrow grip (less than shoulder width)
  • Position the bar above your chest with your arms perpendicular to the floor
  • Bend your arms and lower the bar above your head
  • Raise the bar so your arms almost fully extend
