Muscles Used

Instructions

  • Hold your trunk tight and keep your back straight
  • Hold the dumbbells by your sides
  • Take a step forward with one foot
  • (The step should enough so that it lines up with the knee of the rear leg)
  • Lower your body down
  • The knee of the rear leg should almost touch the floor
  • Push up with the front leg and return to the start position
  • Repeat with other side

  • Gluteus maximus
  • Rectus femoris
  • Vastus lateralis
  • Vastus medialis
  • Vastus intermedius
  • Adductor magnus
  • Biceps femoris
  • Semitendinosus
  • Semimembranosus
