  • Hold your trunk tight and keep your back straight
  • Position the bar on the front of your shoulders
  • Cross your arms and place your hands on the barbell
  • Keeping your back straight squat down
  • Thighs should be parallel with the floor
  • Lift the bar by almost fully extending your knees and hips
