Instructions

  • This exercise works the quadriceps
  • Sit on the end of a bed or chair in an upright sitting position
  • Your legs will be relaxed and your knees bent with your feet off the floor
  • Straighten your leg to bring your foot off the floor
  • Take your leg as straight as you can get it
  • When you have done this lower your leg slowly to the ground
  • Do not simply relax once you have straightened your leg, control your leg back down to the starting position
  • If you just relax you miss out half the work out
